3. Wilderness Safety, Fire Precautions & Weather Disclaimer
Backcountry Safety Notice: Camping, hiking, and mountaineering involve inherent environmental hazards including hypothermia, sudden storm systems, high winds, and rough terrain. Campers are responsible for assessing campsite weather forecasts, staking tents securely with appropriate guy lines, and carrying necessary emergency supplies. Stove & Fire Safety Warning: Backpacking gas stoves must only be operated outdoors in open, well-ventilated areas away from flammable dry brush, tent fabric, or enclosed spaces. Never cook inside a closed tent due to severe carbon monoxide poisoning and fire hazards. Oris Camp is not liable for structural tent damage from extreme storm winds, fabric burns from open flames, carbon monoxide inhalation, or injuries resulting from improper stove operation or adverse wilderness conditions.
